Treatment FAQs
Q. How many treatments will I need to see results?
Just 1! While top-ups may still be required, Alluzience botulinum toxin A has been shown to require fewer top ups and produce results quicker than traditional botox treatments.
Q. How long will it take for me to see results?
This varies from person to person however ~25% of patients see results in 24 hours, and more than 50% see results in as little as 3 days. All patients see results in 1-2 weeks but Alluzience shows results much more quickly than usual botulinum toxin injections.
Q. Are there side effects?
As with any injectable treatment, there is always a risk of experiencing some bruising and swelling following treatment but this should settle in 1-2 weeks maximum, if not sooner.
Q. Treatment, Travelling and Big Events
Travelling:
Flying can increase the chances of swelling after your treatment, this isn’t a problem and it is still possible to travel around your appointment, but we would recommend using ice to combat any swelling that you experience. Additionally, this treatment is better suited to those who travel often as it requires less follow up appointments for top ups.
Big Events:
We advise booking far in advance of any big events you have coming up to allow us to get you started on the Alluzience treatment with enough time for you to see the best possible results for your big day. We ask all of our patients who have big events coming up, to get in contact with us before booking so we can best arrange your treatment to happen at the recommended number of weeks before your event. As Alluzience is quicker acting than usual anti-wrinkle injections, a major advantage of this treatment is that it can be done closer to an upcoming event than usual toxin injections.
