This, among other factors, can lead to a ‘smoker’s face’ which is characterised by prominent wrinkles, gaunt facial features, prominent bony contours, and a loss of volume within the skin, which often appears to have a greyish hue. There is also evidence to suggest that the smoke inhaled from vaping e-cigarettes can cause the same effects.
