Lip Shape
Everyone’s lip shape and size is completely individual to them, and is determined by genetics and some environmental factors. Some of our patients come to us looking to subtly enhance the size or shape of their lips to get a beautiful but natural looking result.
For others of our patients, they have experienced some volume loss in the lips due to ageing and other factors. As we age, natural processes lead to the loss of collagen and elastin in the skin and a loss of hydration in the lips. Ultimately, this causes a loss in lip volume which can give the appearance of thinner lips, and for these patients we can use dermal filler to enhance the lips just enough to restore them to a more youthful looking result.
