Facial Volume Loss
The effects of facial ageing are felt at multiple levels and are influenced by both your environment and your genetics. There are 4 anatomical levels to your face: bone, muscle, fat and skin. During the ageing process, volume loss from the bone, fat and skin leads to hollowing of the face and a lack of support for over and underlying tissue. This all contributes to many of the aesthetic concerns of our patients, including under-eye hollows, jowls, nose-to-mouth lines and lip volume loss. Rejuvenating treatments can tackle these effects by replacing volume, lifting or dropping muscles, or stimulating the skin to produce more of its own volumizer, collagen.
