Dermal Fillers are an incredibly versatile treatment that are used to replace lost volume, add extra volume or add contour to many regions of the face, as well as other areas of the body.
The duration of results for each dermal filler treatment varies dependent on the area that the filler is used in and specific durations can be found on individual treatment pages. Prices may also vary dependent on the amount of filler required and the complexity of the individual treatment.

Q. What Dermal Fillers do you use?
We use all Hyaluronic Acid based dermal fillers. Different HA fillers are formulated in different ways to achieve a different effect in the skin; a filler may simply add volume, or it may have additional properties that will nourish and hydrate the skin while still giving you lift.
The variety of fillers that we use are listed below:

- Juvederm Vycross Premium Range (Voluma, Volift, Volbella)
- Juvederm Ultra Range
Q. What are the aftercare procedures?
For treatment options involving filler:
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treatment area 4 hours after the treatment.
- No makeup should be applied to the treatment area 4 hours after the treatment. (Ensure your makeup application is thoroughly clean before applying)
- Avoid excessive drinking of alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- Avoid exposing the treated area to intense heat (e.g. Sauna, steam room, hot bath, hot compress, hot teas/coffees) for the first 72 hours.
- Swelling does not always occur but may last up to 2 weeks in some patients, depending on procedure.
Q. Are there any side effects?
Immediately after treatment, there may be slight redness, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection. The inconvenience is temporary and generally disappears in a few hours. If it continues or if other reactions occur, please call us.
Q. Treatment, Travelling and Big Events?
Travelling:
Flying can increase the chances of swelling after your treatment, this isn’t a problem and it is still possible to travel around your appointment, but we would recommend using ice to combat any swelling that you experience.
Big Events:
We advise booking far in advance of any big events you have coming up, to allow any swelling to subside and allow us to address any issues or top ups that my need performing to maximise your results. We ask all of our patients who have big events coming up, to get in contact with us before booking so we can best arrange your treatment to happen at the recommended number of weeks before your event.
Q. When will I see results?
For filler treatment, the results will be seen immediately after treatment, and fully realised once any redness and swelling has subsided.
