Stretch Marks
Stretch marks, as the name suggests, are caused by the stretching of the skin. They can appear on anyone and there are lots of factors that determine whether or not you develop them and their severity. Gender, pregnancy, rapid weight gain or weight loss and genetics are among some of the most common reasons for developing stretch marks. They can vary greatly in their appearance, looking different on different skin types and tones. They can be indented or appear just as lines on the skin; they can be red, pink, blue, purple, brown or black or appear as bright streaks that fade to a lighter colour; and they can be very small or very wide. Your stretch marks are very individual to you and we will always take a personal approach to assessing and treating you.
