The Brow lift can elevate a depression of the eyebrow region, help create that enviable arched brow, reduce hooding of the eyelid and lift the ends of the brows.
This can be achieved using Toxin injections, to relax muscles in the region, or Dermal Filler, to add volume, however at Trikwan we often prefer to use a combination treatment to achieve the best results. This allows us to create a customisable treatment dependent on your individual concerns and the desired look you are aiming to achieve.
Our thorough consultation that we carry out before every treatment will help us, help you decide what result you are looking to achieve and how best we can create those results for you. After you have had your procedure it may take up to 2 Weeks to experience the full effects of the treatment.

Q. Which method of Brow Lift am I suitable for?
The doctors will discuss this in depth with you on the day of your appointment. Until we can see your concerns in person, it is difficult for us to judge the best route to gaining your desired result. However, during your consultation our Trikwan Doctors will run through what result you are looking for and arm you with the knowledge on all your options so you can make an informed decision that is right for you.
Q. What are the aftercare procedures?
For treatment options involving filler:
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treatment area 4 hours after the treatment.
- No makeup should be applied to the treatment area 4 hours after the treatment. (Ensure your makeup application is thoroughly clean before applying)
- Avoid excessive drinking of alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- Avoid exposing the treated area to intense heat (e.g. Sauna, steam room, hot bath, hot compress, hot teas/coffees) for the first 72 hours.
- Swelling does not always occur but may last up to 2 weeks in some patients, depending on procedure.
For treatment options involving toxin:
- Utilise the muscles injected for the next 1 hour
- Stay upright for minimum of 3 hours
- No make up for 4 hours
- No rubbing or massaging of the injected area for 4 hours after treatment, including facials.
- Avoid excessive drinking of alcohol or medically necessary blood thinning medication for 24 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- Avoid headwear that is tightly fitted across the forehead.
- Avoid getting any facials, skin peels or laser on your face for 2 weeks.
Q. Are there any side effects?
Immediately after treatment, there may be slight redness, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection. The inconvenience is temporary and generally disappears in a few hours. If it continues or if other reactions occur, please call us.
If you have had a toxin treatment, you may experience some bruising and small bumps (post injection site swelling). These will settle quickly and are not to be worried about.
Q. Treatment, Travelling and Big Events?
Travelling:
Flying can increase the chances of swelling after your treatment, this isn’t a problem and it is still possible to travel around your appointment, but we would recommend using ice to combat any swelling that you experience.
Big Events:
We advise booking far in advance of any big events you have coming up, to allow any swelling to subside and allow us to address any issues or top ups that my need performing to maximise your results. We ask all of our patients who have big events coming up, to get in contact with us before booking so we can best arrange your treatment to happen at the recommended number of weeks before your event.
Q. When will I see results?
If you have had a filler treatment, you will begin to see your results immediately. If this has been combined with toxin injections, or you have had toxin alone, you will start seeing results at 2-3 days with maximum effect at 10-14 days
