Mesotherapy is a natural nourishing treatment aimed at total skin hydration and rejuvenation, without the use of large invasive needles or cannulas.
It involves the use of very fine microneedles which penetrate superficially into the epidermis of the skin to deliver its cocktail of products to the deeper dermal layers. Here cellular interaction between the components of this cocktail and your skin cells takes places to promote collagen production, fortify elastin fibres and stimulate skin metabolism.
Mesotherapy has 4 primary functions:
- Stimulate the skin’s metabolism and biochemical reactions
- Improve skin firmness and tone
- Restructure mature skin tissue
- Repair skin imperfections
It uses a cocktail of Vitamins, Minerals, Amino Acids, Hyaluronic Acid and Co-enzymes to achieve these 4-fold effects in the skin. This array of ingredients means that Mesotherapy treatment can target a variety of skin concerns including:
- Sagging skin
- Dull, dry skin
- Reduce fine lines
- Anti-ageing
- Hair loss
- Scarring
- Pigmentation

Q. Treatment, Travelling and Big Events
Travelling:
Flying can increase the chances of swelling after your treatment, this isn’t a problem and it is still possible to travel around your appointment, but we would recommend using ice to combat any swelling that you experience.
Big Events:
We advise booking far in advance of any big events you have coming up to allow us to get you started on the Profhilo Body treatment with enough time for you to see the best possible results for your big day. We ask all of our patients who have big events coming up, to get in contact with us before booking so we can best arrange your treatment to happen at the recommended number of weeks before your event.
